Fran Stallings
TT Past-President, co-founder Fran Stallings has many upcoming storytelling events planned. In addition to telling at Tulsa schools in March & April, she will be emceeing the Fringe concert at TSA’s festival in Denton and presenting a workshop at Sharing the Fire, the conference of League for the Advancement of Northeast Storytelling, which will be in Plymouth MA, March 24-27 this year. In April she will present a workshop at Northlands “Confabulation!” festival in Geneva Lake WI — a trip which will include visiting with Lynn Moroney, another TT treasure.
Shaun Perkins
TT webmaster Shaun Perkins will be storytelling during the Rising Stars Concert at the Tejas Storytelling Festival on March 10 in Denton. In April, she will present her poetry at the Scissortail Writing Festival in Ada. On April 15, as part of Wonder City Wordfest in Locust Grove, she will present her one-woman storytelling and poetry show POEM LIFE. She will also do a workshop at the Oklahoma History Center in April.
