Ryan Howell is an archaeologist and storyteller who has been entertaining audiences with tales of his wild “Indiana Jones” adventures for years. Ryan’s stories are rooted in historical and prehistorical fact and not only entertaining, but educational as well. He is a regular performer and host at Ok, So Tulsa’s StorySlam and is known around the Tulsa comedy scene where he occasionally attempts to make people laugh with his standup comedy. In 2014, he placed 2nd in the Tulsa’s Best Storyteller Competition and has been featured on NPR’s Tales From the South Radio Show.
Ryan’s stories work for audiences teen to adult and can be catered to fit almost any theme. His most popular stories include “How to Meet a Witch,” “I will always come back to Oklahoma,” “These bones, A Ghost Story of Sorts,” and “Poker Games.”
